Aesthetic Dentistry
The demand for restorative oral aesthetic treatment increases daily.
People seek this type of procedure for a variety of reasons. Some simply want to look younger, and cosmetic dentistry is like a dental lift that can quickly "reverse" the natural aging process of teeth. Others would like to have more beautiful teeth and therefore have difficulty smiling spontaneously, often hiding the warmer side of their personality.
Modern dentistry offers a wide variety of treatment options for people looking to improve their smiles. Options range from porcelain veneers, braces, or even simple whitening. In many cases, a combination of techniques is needed to achieve the best results.
Teeth Whitening
Before starting treatment, it is important to perform a clinical and radiographic examination to check for any problems that may prevent whitening. It is also necessary to prepare the oral environment, removing calculus and cracks in the enamel. To ensure the effectiveness of the treatment, it is possible to combine two techniques, such as home whitening with in-office whitening with the dentist.
The effect of teeth whitening can last 2 to 3 years, but in 43% of cases it lasts more than 5 years.
Teeth whitening is not recommended for: Pregnant or breastfeeding women, Patients with hypersensitivity to the medication, Patients with periodontal disease, Patients with many aesthetic restorations or gum retractions, Children up to 16 years old.

Contact Lenses
-
They are very thin ceramic sheets, but thick enough that when glued to the teeth, they can change their color, shape and size, creating a new shade and design for the smile. Due to these transformative characteristics, dental contact lenses are increasingly sought after by people who are dissatisfied with their smile, who do not want to wait for the results of orthodontic treatment, nor change the structure of their teeth.

Contact lenses may be indicated to join separated teeth.
They can increase the width and height of the teeth. The aesthetic result is often used for this purpose, as most people still consider a smile with gapped teeth to be childish.
Contact lens treatment can be completed in three visits to the dentist.
Three appointments are necessary: one for the professional's evaluation, planning and analysis on the computer using photos, another to prepare (wear) if necessary and take a mold of the teeth, and a final one to install the lenses.
Contact lenses are long lasting.
However, replacement may be necessary if there is a fracture or wear. It will depend on each patient's profile.
Dental veneers
Laminate Veneer is a thin ceramic restoration that is placed on the vestibular surface of the tooth, allowing the optimization of the shape, color and proportion of the tooth, achieving excellent aesthetic results.
Compared to traditional restorations (prosthetic crowns), laminates represent a minimally invasive technique, since they require only limited tooth preparation and less removal of tooth enamel, thus allowing the preservation of the tooth structure and its vitality.
